Leslie Beitsch, MD, JD
Leslie Beitsch, MD, JD brings over 30 years of public health and academic experience to his endeavors. Former state health commissioner for Oklahoma, and deputy secretary for health in Florida, and most recently professor and department chair at Florida State University College of Medicine, he has been instrumental to the introduction of quality improvement in public health and its emphasis in the Public Health Accreditation Board accreditation system. With well over one hundred publications to his credit, he was a pioneer in early public health systems research. Much he has written focuses on public health infrastructure, workforce, quality/improvement/performance management, accreditation, and public health law.
